Kinver Brewery were pleased to supply beer to the Kinver Country Fayre held in Stag Meadow on the 19th June.Over 10,000 visitors were entertained by a variety of attractions including a medieval re-enactment, jousting, shire horses, Kinver Brewery's own Morris man Ian and the Sedgley Morris, live music, vintage cars, dog show, local crafts, stalls selling local produce, and of course a beer tent selling only locally made pies and beer from the villages of Kinver and Enville.
The kinver Country Fayre committee wanted to promote local produce and 8 casks of Enville ale and 8 casks of Kinver beer were purchased to provide a mixture of beer styles and strengths:
- Edge 4.2%
- The Noble 600 4.5%
- Light Railway 3.8%
- Maybug 4.8%
- Crystal 4.5%
- Nightjar Dark Mild 4.3%
Carol and Pete from Kinver Brewery volunteered to sell the beer together with volunteers from Enville brewery and Dudley CAMRA. The thirsty visitors drank the bar dry.
